With Christmas just around the corner few people are thinking about anything but, and spring break plans are certainly not on very many people’s minds at this time of year. But a lot of planning must go into spring break vacations. Courmayeur Italy may be mostly viewed as a five-star ski resort town, but that doesn’t mean that people don’t like to visit here when the weather is warmer. In fact, being that spring break is so early in the year, it is still quite cold in Courmayeur. This makes it a perfect place for spring breakers that love to ski. For this reason, the town is popular this time of the year, so in order to have the best time possible it is important to plan ahead. There are three things you should do now in order to do that.
- Book Your Courmayeur Accommodations – The most important thing to do right now is to book your accommodations. There are plenty of Courmayeur hotels to accommodate the large crowds that visit the town, but they do fill up fast during certain times of the year. And the warmer weather and the vacation time that most people get in April make it a perfect time to visit, so it could be busy.
- Make Restaurant Reservations – Right now may be a little early to make restaurant reservations, but if you start looking at the restaurants in the town online and you do find something you like it wouldn’t hurt to make them a few weeks in advance. Just as anything else will be difficult to get into if the town is bust when you visit, so will the best restaurants. And let’s face it, dining in great restaurants is one of the highlights of any vacation.
- Reserve Your Ski Equipment – Lugging ski equipment around when on a ski trip is never easy, so sometimes it makes more sense to simply rent it when you get to your destination, especially if it is going to be a short trip. As an added advantage, when you rent you can try the newest gear too. Renting this is something you should do ahead of time as well, to ensure you get exactly what you want.
Your spring break vacation in Courmayeur may be a bit far away still, but the earlier you plan, the better it will be for sure.Google+
